Default G37 track times??

I know this doesn't have anything to do with Mustangs, but I was searching for times on the 370z to see what kind of competition they would be for an S197 and came upon this. A stock G37 trapping at 106? then 108 with DRs? Something seems fishy. Magazines testing the 370z had it trapping around 105 and it weighs 3200 to the G37's 3600lbs. I know conditions play a huge role but it seems like lately people have been getting crazy times out of stock cars (challenger..) What gives? Track error? Perfect conditions? Amazing driving? People lying? Also with a 1.83 60ft and a 106 trap should the time be less that 13.33?

id say without a video and timeslip im not buying a 12 sec drag radial only g37.

the power numbers just arent there for its weight.

2mph more trap doesnt make sense with the dr as well. his horsepower didnt increase, how did he trap higher? the lower 60' general lowers your mph as well

I'm talking about that G37's times.

The 370z comes out in January and will have the same engine as the G37 so I was trying to compare to see how fast the 370z will be at the strip.

+1. Doesn't quite sound right to me either.

Pretty much what everyone else has siad. I'd expect a mid 13 second car for a G37

This might give an idea.

They are the only ones with access right now. So we will have to wait until they are on the street for some Drag Strip times.
