Leaving my house today met up with a sweet sounding and looking SN95 Cobra vert. We kept messing around going back in forth. Get to a stop light and we are beside each other. Light turns green and he takes off. I start to gain on him through second and at the top of third I had at least a 2 car lead on him. Got to the next light he rolled down his window and was like amazed on how I pulled on him. How fast are those cars? Was it a good win or a win I should have won?
Was it a 94-95 or a 96-98?
The 94-95's are about as fast as a stock new edge, the 96-98's were slightly faster (they had around 300hp) so you should have had no problem with either with your modifications

I think mid-high 13's
I don't know anyone who owns one but I heard they are geared poorly wich hurts their acceleration down low, but they are supposed to be pretty quick at higher speeds
but I am no expert

My "little brother" (6ft3 330lbs) managed to get his g/f's stock edge ('cept for the dropin k&n) down to a 13.71 @ 100. (3361# raceweight I believe)
A buddy of mine had a 94 cobra a couple years ago. Sounded REAL good, even though it only had flows' welded in. But, it was dogged to hell, physically and internally. Another friend bought it from him, let it sit for about 4 yrs, then about 2 weeks ago the car rolled down the yard into a creek!! (steep hill, no wheel chaulk, bad ebrake)
Good kill soldier. What ever happend at the dyno, thought I remember reading you were going sometime soon (today maybe?) , Im interested in seeing your #'s.
