Default C5 Vette

Oh man this wasn't even fair, or even a match. Anyways, I was on my way picking up my sister from work. I was making my way to the on ramp and I see this C5 Vette waiting to make a left. I pass him since I had the right of way and I guess he wanted to flip a bitch instead (U-turn) and gets behind me. Knowing the outcome already I turnoff my TC and we make our way to the on ramp. There are three lanes, on it and there were 3 cars ahead of us. I was first so once I get straight I punch it like there was no tomorrow, still didn't help. I held my own to the entrance of the freeway. He caught up at the end and it narrows quickly. Luckily we both went through without any issue, since he was ahead of me at this time. Sounded like he had at least full exhaust. Thing was definitely nice. Anyways I caught up sheepishly and threw a peace sign up. We both rev'd up our engines and went our separate ways. All I could think was how much I want to be done with school so I can afford something faster than that lol. Oh well Still got my adrenaline up in a quick hurry!

Nothing like getting that adrenaline going. Kudos for sucking up the loss, no shame in losing to a beast like that.....

No shame in losing to a C5. Fast car for sure.

You had one? I figured you were strictly a F-Body man.

Crash- run him again after your sig looks likes Soldier's...

No I just meant the itch was back. When I got my first F-Body (1995 LT1) I was 18... I was going to get a C5 but I was paying 365.00 a month for insurance just to drive the Camaro. (not high risk, clean record)

I fought off the itch a few times in between and it's starting to get me again...gah.. damn Y-Bodys.

The fastest car I've ever been in was a 2000 C5 vert with H/C/I, Vortech S-trim with meth injection running 11 lbs, full stainless Bassani exhaust, 3.73's and all the supporting mods. Under full pedal my friend drove it like he was in the middle of a storm, it was fvcking quick but MENTAL FAST...
