Default new bests! now help...

Was at atco yesterday and got a new best of 12.869 at 106.78 car # 775

my new plans are to do struts, upr k-member with coil overs, long tubes, 15x10 weld racing wheels and 31 spline rear. How much do you guys think that would help? also what kind of tires should i go with? I live within walking distance to atco so im considering slicks because i would be able to drive there and back with them on. Im not really to knowledgeable about slicks vs DR so need some help.

just boltons, thats pretty incredible.

in all honesty just adding those few boltons wont help a ton, maybe 1-2 tenths. then the wheels themselves will probably help another tenth or 2 (from weight and traction).

be pretty sweet to see a 12.4-12.5 bolt on new edge

Nice runs man. That outstanding for a bolt on GT. I was hoping to get into the 12's my self. Putting the 410's on in two weeks should be real close.

This is just a personal opinion but I have always found slicks to be the best racing rubber when your going in a straight line. I have a couple of used micky thompson 15 X 8 X 24.5s im selling cheap if you'd like to try slicks out. I can cut a 1.68 sixty with wrong wheel drive on these tires.

24.5s would be way way way way too short for a mustang, especially a geared mustang.
