Too expensive though. I go to the dollar store and a roll lasts all season.

guess you dont race much. LOL 100' long roll will last 25 times at the track or there abouts

Is it me or is your rear Driver's side tire looking a "tad" low?

That stuff should work great. I might give that a shot and see if it does the job. Thanks for the info Dave!

I use a little hot water and it usually comes right off with some scrubbing.

15 or 16 lbs IIRC, @ launch, so it's wrinkling a bit

it does, takes 2 mins to put on, and 30 seconds to peel off and your good to go!

Painters tape will work well. It protects against flying rubber and prep liquids. It doesn't leave any residue behind. But, it won't protect from flying stones - but duct tape will.

So put the painters tape on first, then add a layer of duct tape. Good protection, cheap, and easy to remove.
