Well it's well safe to say Evo's have made me their b!tch... lol. i was in ann arbor the other day and one was in a turning lane, being an idiot i revved at him. sure enough he got out of the turning lane to come after me. decided i'd get my a$$ kicked first from about a 45 roll, of course, having an auto that made things all the worse for me, up to 95 he had about 2 1/2 -3 cars on me, then we got to a stop light, got to talk to him for a few, he said it was bone stock, so i felt even worse haha. from the stop it wasnt so bad because he had an awful launch, such a bad launch i had him up to about 65 or so, then of course he went right by me, up to about 90 again he had me by about 1 1/2 cars, good thing he had an awful launch. ur all probably wondering why i posted about me getting my butt handed to me, but the point is, i wanted to know what i would have to do to run with one of these 4 banger factory freaks, i plan on doing a PI Swap, but what else? thanks.

them evos are fast from the factory though. at least you picked on something worthwhile though. good run.

 

Bogging makes for bad launches.

Good deaths, looks like you have a good headstart on bolt ons, get the PIs and take it to the track.

 

Yep, if it was 1 1/2 cars a PI swap is all you should need.

 

They r fast. PI should do it if they r stock but if they do something to it is a whole diferent story. I say you throw a blower on it and that should take care of the average EVO out there.

 

lol, their pretty fast stock, 13.1 in 1/4. They lake top end though from their drivetrain loss in the AWD system. good run.

 

blower without PI is a waste.

 

I honlestly have NEVER seen a stock Evo run faster than a 13.4. Good death. I agree bogging in AWD makes it a horrible run. The top end on AWD is pretty bad, so anything that will cut off another 1-1.5s in the quarter and you'll be all set.

and btw, honorable loss. i havent toyed with an evo yet, but, i know STi's are fast as f**k and i think he was toying with me.......bastard. but he was cool about it
