I am having a hard time chosing between keene bell and a pro charger. either way i go i want to run around 11pounds of boost. with either a after cooler or intercooler. it will be mostly a drag car but also want some top end for smashing on those quick cars with factory forced induction. so any one run both and prefere one more than the other. i know this has been asked before but want first hand experiences. (man that porsche was fast though. he told me he was low 12's but thats a freakin high way car. just walked on me bad.)
Are all of you running stock exhaust? When I just have the no cat running to the flowmaster it's loud enough to scare people into not racing, when I open the exhaust C/O usually ppl just cover their ears. I rarely ever find any imports that'll run with me, although, had a turbo all wheel drive Eagle Talon hand me my *** in the 1/8th the other night.
Well right now I'm running out of the manifolds into the Y pipe back into one pipe, which, as I've heard, signinficatly cuts down the flow. I'm not a big gear head or anything but I have a lot of friends that are and they say that it'll really let the car breathe better to run true duals. They may be full of if though..... My gf's dad said that on this Mustang they used to have, he put an H pipe and some headers on it and it really made a difference, so I'm gonna try doing somnething.
