8700 where? Man I really liked the New Edge look but let's be truthful. 2v's suck, unless you put money into them. If I had known what I know now I would have spent a couple grand more and found a Cobra or a Mach... Don't get me wrong I love my stang and will not be getting rid of it (unless I find a good priced Z06).

a dealer friend of mine has one on his lot. On the vette they're great cars, but tough to come by a good deal.... anyhow a mach/ cobra is so much more sexy and cheaper to race

lol I am in Phase 1 called borenoc.... Im still here I go to phase 3 in mar-Apr. Then I'll be making a nice drive to get a little whistling noise installed on the car. I just cancelled my extended warranty for it so I'll have that extra to throw down on it

Thats messed up Rebel. You did the right thing though. I would never instigate a race with a vehicle carrying a car seat, kids, etc. Some people, man.
Soldier, you need to run a Mach bad and let us know what happens. Run a few of them to rule out any bad drivers, etc. I'm really curious if, when, and where your car would start to pull or fall back from a Mach. I guess its going to come down to where your cams are strongest and where those damn 2v heads start running out of breath. IMO, you would be a good run for the Mach in my lower sig. It was a good mid to high 12 second car with the right tires.

Dude, I feel you all the way. I don't even have a car seat in the GTO, but when I'm driving the Jeep, or anything else, w/ my (1yo)daughter in the car, there are NO shenanigans going on, street racing or otherwise. That **** is not cool....

I have to say I feel ya on this one as well, rebel. Whenever my wife and kid are in my 05, I get nothing but the nimrods wanting to get all cocky and bowed up. Takes alot of restraint, as most times they do some pretty stupid s**t to try and get me to play. Worst part is that nine outta ten times, it's someone in a car/truck that would be a better race for my 11 year old sixxer.
And then when I'm alone in the GT...............nothing......NADA. It's like the douchebags have "predator sensing radar"...and know when not to screw with me.
