first story:

last week i was running to the chevy dealership to pick up some parts for a vette, and a younger looking kid in an m3 was driving next to me. we got a red light. light went green and we both rolled out really slow til we hit the other side of the intersection and both hit it, with me starting just a little early. i spun at the top of 1st, like usual, got it in second, and hit 3rd. only had a couple cars on him.

we went again from about a 40 roll. He started at the same time this time, and he got about a car jump on me (those things respond to throttle quick lol). took me all the way to about 80-90 to get back even with him, and we shut it down right when we were dead even.

what i learned from this, m3's are quicker than i thought lol, or this wasnt a stock m3.


second story:

today on my way home, right as i was making a u-turn a cl500 was making a right going the same way i was ending up. I made the turn before them, and they came up on my right, and punched it (i assume trying to get around me, mad that i turned in front of them, even though i had the green light, and they had the red..... ugh people like that are a huge pet peeve of mine). Anyway they tried the whole ricer flyby on me, and i was already in 2nd gear going only 25mph. they got up to the side of my car before i got up in the rpm enough for some power. i didnt feel like letting them off easy, and continued accelerating up to about 75 or 80. put a good 15 cars on them. probably ddnt even know what hit them. funny part is this person ended up living only a few houses down from me.

 

I hate ******** drivers who do that ****. Like the people who are riding in the fast lane going below the speed limit, and when you go around them to pass they speed up.WTF? As soon as I know they're being ***** like that, I put the hammer down. Usually the sudden burst of speed is enough to make them realize they ain't winning this little competition.

 

what year M3? the couple I've run, even the modded one, wasn't THAT fast, but I guess I have a little skewed point of view.

I still think your car would rape em if he was stock Fazm.

the only people I dislike are the ones that will drive behind me and get to within an inch, especially if there is nowhere for me to go, like I'm behind someone. friggin dicks. used to be I could just rev it a little, and it was running rich enough in neutral to shoot some flames out the back, but no more

 

i am running my 345rwhp tune by the way, not the 400+ ones, which would have been a different story lol

 

Was this a new M3, or the previous E46 body???

 

ah, nevermind, that would definitely put you right next to a lightly modded one alright.

After hearing that, I'd probably guess it was a e46 model or whatever for you to have pulled like that.

stock motor, pt-61 turbo running 8.86psi, and other drivetrain mods (lots of others lol) although i do still run stock 3.31 gears

it's 333hp at the crank stock, so that would sound about right

 

the vent on the side looks familiar but the rear looks kinda different, but maybe it just had an aftermarket bumper or something on it (the one i raced seemed more round in the back)
