If the GT is spinning thru the 60', and the Z28 is pulling hard up top, game over. On the flip side, if the GT can pull out a good 2.0 60' and shifts on time, the ETs should be close.

Just take your time OP, make at least 5 passes in order to get a feel for your car and the track. Then let your car cool down and run the Z28 at least 3 times to get some solid results and rule out errors.
8 runs??? Where are getting 8 runs in, in one night?

My local track I would be lucky to get 3 in an entire night

I no that that's why i went with a 18" wheel. I definately think my wheels will look better but since when are 18's blinging. I know a taller sidewall would help, but the sidewall will still be about the same with the new tires and at least they'll be about 2" wider.

Stated it as a matter of fact? LOL Did I say z28’s are shyt and I smoke them 24/7 ? Or maybe I said they are slow and you will beat one everytime? No didn’t think so either. Pretty sure I said I beat one at the track and also that people don’t always run their best every single time… It’s funny to be that you can’t take the fact that the same exact car as you lost to an inexperienced driver (me). Just because you ran a 13.1 in your car stock in a different track under different weather conditions and in Illinois you think all z28’s will run that elsewhere? LMAO In the 3 times I have been to the track, I have never seen a z run that even modded (unless with d/r). Im not saying they cant run that, but all the z’s I ran against or asked what they ran it was not 13.1.

Maybe it's a matter of perception but this just reads 'My car is capable of beating one' not 'If the other person can't drive'.

FWIW...
This is what my GF ran on her first trip the track ever racing (3rd or 4th pass I believe). Different day than I ran even... on our no where near sea level track in Illinois.

I have no problem with you stating that he can take his brother if his brother can not drive. Aside from the obvious I personally stated that if he can drive he will beat his brother (assuming his brother can drive as well). When benchracing I put the CARS against each other...not the talentless people who seem to drive them.

Wow your gf kicks ***. 'My car is capable of beating one' not 'If the other person can't drive'. Well I am sort of saying both lol. Obviously my car has to be able to beat one if I did. I agree some people drive good and bad and they should have probably beat me with an LS1 (do all LS1’s have 350 hp?)
I just think the 4.10’s can really be a major deciding factor , good or bad (spinning ftl). OP you need to go run him, we’re getting anxious lol

I know what you were saying now..but the way you put it the first time literally made me laugh..so I just felt inclined to tell you it did. haha

I didn't call bs on you since you obviously beat the guy down the track.. sometimes people related experiences like that as if they are the way things are in every case instead of just acknowleging that they were the underdog and managed to pull a win. All LS1 cars made 345~350hp (the actual amount is a mystery to me so it's hard to just say 350 and call it a day)... they are just a bitch to launch.. The first 2 passes down the track I think the gf nailed a 13.7 and 13.6..then I told her how I launch and despite the smell of clutch as she took off it worked out well.

I just think the 4.10’s can really be a major deciding factor , good or bad (spinning ftl). OP you need to go run him, we’re getting anxious lol
I agree 100%... if the OP can hook I think he has the race in the bag but those gears may bite him and give him the loss.

Really want to hear what happens with this.
