In other words... even if it was the freak pass runner you would have pounded it Tommy. haha..I looked and saw a lot of low 14s/high 13 second slips for those guys posted.

They're good for 306 BHP through a very good automatic and have great top end. Having said that the OP wouldn't have any trouble with one regardless of how the race started...

None of the IS350s posted there were in the 14s. That list is a combination of IS350s and IS300s (the IS300 is quite a bit slower). The slowest IS350 on that list was running 13.8s. That's not to say that there aren't people who drive them a lot slower than that, but I agree with you that Tommy should get the win regardless

Whoa just a side note, I saw an IS300 with a 4.0L V8 swap on that list! I didn't even know that had been attempted. It looks like it was running pretty slow (14.1s) but it was still getting some trans issues sorted out. That's pretty cool though! Most IS3 guys will just do a Supra swap with a big turbo to run faster times.

i was google whoring it up when I saw the 14.x passes.. Edmunds even pulled a 13.9 so they were probably some really crappy drivers. haha

Since I put the stall in I've noticed that my car doesn't seem to pull very well from a rolling highway start. The converter unlocks and the revs shoot up but it feels kinda weak, not accelerating like it should, like the trans is slipping or something. It used to just downshift and pull really hard. It still pulls very strongly from a dig though (better than ever in fact, 1.87 60 ft).

That's odd..my 2200 street stall was retarted from a roll on.. hit really hard.

My stalled Z28 started doing that too. It would still leave just as hard, but it eventually starting slipping more and more until the trans went. It started the same way though, I lost trap speed and it didn't pull right from a roll either. Might want to keep a check on your fluid, if it starts smelling like shat, you know what's going down.

Good call...I was on a full built trans at the time... that thing held up to my cc306 and I would say over a hundred WOT runs into overdrive. Miss that transmission.
