my girlfriends got a TC.. i drive the living **** out of it trying to go fast.... no dice.
i can see 15 sec 1/4, so if he can drive it would be a close race.

if you had the 5.9 however......

Both cars run well over 16 seconds. Who knows, I would guess in favor of the TC.

My friend has an 07 TC with just an intake and it ran a 15.7 best time. and with stock rims it will chirp third i've done it several times. I thing the durango would lose this race unless its a auto tc vs a stick.

What speed does 3rd gear start in? Those things don't have a lot of power.

Chirping 3rd gear has zero reflection on how fast a car is. You can dump the clutch on just about anything and get it to do that. My work truck is a manual F-250, it chirps 3rd, so does my SI, so do the tractor trailers at work (when unloaded). Means nothing.

If this was the combo round on pass time I'd need a calulator just to ad the two times together so I'd know what to bet.

I spanked one in my stock 3.8 Camaro, they're not quick.
