That 295 torque rating isn't that great...but I'm sure the 400hp @ 8000rpm's makes up for it.

Yeah I was suprised when i heard they finally threw a V8 in there but it only had that much tq, but I think your right the 400hp probablys helps justa little bit....and x2 on self control with the bone stock termi.

 

The car makes such little torque because of its displacement and the way it was engineered. BMW n/a motors are usually higher rpm/high HP engines.

 

Damn, thats a high trap for a stock car! It ought to be a good race.

For you guys talking about the torque rating, I wouldn't pay too much attention to that. Torque is important, but HP, gearing, Rpm, weight, torque, etc, all work together. You really can't focus on just one thing like that and still get an idea of what a car will do. You got to look at the whole car. Torque isn't the end all.

 

haha well im not going to take it to 200 lol i bet a cobra could :P anyways yeah its hard not to mod this car. 1) im too cheep and 2) i like knowing i have a "virgin" cobra
