on va beach blvd cruising around with one of my friends and were sittin at a light. 4 lanes of traffic if youre acquainted with the area. so, light turns green, next thing i know, 2 lanes over(on my side), a GTP and an Audi TT take off hauling ***. i start laughin, cuz, honestly, neither of 'em are really anything that quick. so, i take off. coming to the next light, it turns red. they stop. theyre sittin there. im rolling up slowly, wanting to get a green, cuz, i said, "what the hell, lets see if theyll play". so, im rolling up in 2nd gear, light turns green, i slowly get by them, they take off racing again, the GTP gets a fender on me, and i just PUNCH it in 2nd gear(probably @ 2400-2500rpms), and i just leave them like they were sittin still. run out 2nd, hit 3rd, and i can see the GTP headlights in my rear view. ANNIHILATED. WOO HOO. so, next light turns red. we all stop. theyre both sittin there revving, light turns green, and they leave again. i take off and just head back home. but it was fun........do i count that as 1 win, or 2 wins for the record book ? A shifter is your only mod?

Were you rolling through the light and then took off while they were sitting still?

I expected a little more from the GTP.

 

i got the shifter, flowmaster cat-back(with stock headers and h-pipe, flex fan, bbk cai, and frpp plug wires....i only count the shifter. the rest dont really make a diff i dont think). and as i was rolling up to the light, it turned green, they took off and the gtp was actually like 1/2 a car in front of me racing the tt, then i punched it. and left 'em both.

i dont normally like racing from a roll, but they were both trying their damndest to beat the other one, so, i figured i might as well have some fun too.
