i know the feeling, my 4 cyl Ranger wouldnt let a 00 Vette vert pass me, twice we went from a 40ish roll and went well in to 4th gear (speedo stops at 85mph) and the first time they stayed at my door, the second time they stayed at my tailgate, never pulled an inch

of course he wont admit it, its my girlfriend's brother driving his girlfriend's vette

disclaimer:never said i was faster than a vette, just they never could get past me, but i am saying i will be, check the sig

i do consider it a victory embrassing an LS1 with a 4banger ranger

oh while we're on the subject: i left a 99-04 GT bouncing off his rev-limiter on the freeway
Do you have a 400 shot on it? Thats the only way I'd even remotely believe that.

And Birdeman...Bite me. [&:]

Welcomet o the Vette Killah club. We Should start a Vette Killah CLub. I have beaten a C4 and a C5. The C5 was Stock tho...but i still beat him!!! Welcome to my new club!!
Have you ever had your car on a dyno? Just curious what you are putting to the wheels with your mods.
i'm also curious. you should be well in the 12s if you're killing C5s. i thought machs were mid-high 13 cars stock.
Killing may be an exageration, but i have beaten my friends C5...and he has straight pipes on it. But i am going to dyno it soon. And Muscle Mustangs and Fast Fords Magazine took on i think it was 13.2 or 13.1 stock. it was low low 13's what ever it was. and i got a pic on my comp of a guy with a Mach1 that couldnt drive for shiz run a 13.2 (i think) in his Mach1 with nothin but cat backs.

Yea...i just checked the pic. He went 13.224@107.88mph. That was with Cat backs only and no traction w/ street tires. And trust me. Stock C5's are 13 second cars at best. I have been around corvettes longer than mustangs. I go to the Birthday Bash in KY every year and the stock C5's are lucky to see 13.3 or 13.2. Most of em run 13.4's. They are not as fast as people think in the quarter.

nanaki-Are your dyno numbers NA or with N20? regardless you have enough to take out vettes and with your numbers you should at least be in the mid 12's with the proper setup. Nice kill

i never said they weren't 13 second cars. you just said you walk them all the time, and to "walk" one, i'd say you have to be well in the 12s.

I want to join the corvette killa club too. I beat 2 C4s. Good kill Nanaki. I have tried to race a couple of C5s in my car but I can never get them to race me. I know I will probably lose but it would be entertaining.
