Default FINALLY! 12's

atco tonight, got there, filled the bottle and within 20 minutes was lining up. bottle pressure was still real low because warmer was only on for a few minutes at that point. so anyway i wasnt gonna spray this run- but thank god for hondas.
the car in front of me (which actually cut me out to get in front of me when everyone was pulling up) snap a half shaft (big surprise) and rolled prolly 60 feet. that 5 minute delay got my bottle to about 680psi (i know, still really low) so i decided id run nitrous.
r/t 390
60' 2.109 (my best ever lol)
1/8 8.397 @ 87.52
1/4 12.799 @ 112.18

that was my best run, beat an 00 or newer white vette
next best was a 12.960 @ 111.96, i was very inconsistent, going as high as 13.48

What did you dyno on spray? Your trap speed is pretty good. If you're running nitto drags your time should improve with practice. I have a similar setup, and ran a 12.8@111 on street tires, although my bottle pressure was probably higher.

never dynoed, i think the nittos are hit or miss, as evidenced by on run i had with a 2.5 60' haha. at what rpm did u leave? i think my problem is touch, i should launch at say 4k, but not go WOT (and start spraying) until i get footing.
on my last run i lost 7 mph somehow lol. bottle got weak i guess.

I basically launch around 1500 or so, and just easy into the throttle, since i'm running regular street tires. Switch is set to spray between 2800-6000, so that helps me on the launch.

BTW do you have a no2 bottle pressure gauge? If so what kind? I'm going to get one soon, but i want to get a good one.

on your 12.7 run you were still spinnin 2nd too, your car pulls hard though! get some control arms and full length sub frame connectors, suspension mods, it will help you a lot. if you can get that to plant you will no doubt be able to get low 12's with that 112mph.

It was fairly cold yesterday so I wouldn't worry about being inconsistent. Congrats on 12s. Thats the point where you go from being quick to being fast.

thanks guys,
kmelfi i tried heating the sh*t outta the nittos like u said on the last run, didnt go exactly as planned... maybe i'll try second gear burnouts. next time im at track i'll prolly have 4.10's too so i'll need even more traction!
