Default Mixed victories/ loses

Well here it goes. Tonight after getting out of a hell day at work I decide to shoot w/ three friends. Cameras that is..... We all decide to go and take some night shots. Stars?? Clouds??? City??? We decide to go into the city and take some pics. Well we are going down the main cruise road and a cavalier comes up on me fast. I have four people in my car for extra weight and this guy is alone. He wants to play. At maybe 35 we both punch it at the exact same time!!!!! I love this as I go perfectly. I go up to about 5 grand in second and slam into third. Now I get a surprise... I hear the hiss of a turbo. From about 4 grand in second on up, I am putting distance on him(I really do give cavs some credit as I have raced some respectable ones.) We take off to about 70 and then I let up to avoid a nasty pave job in an intersection. He is at about my rear bumper at this point. I put on the brakes and then he gives a ricer flyby and takes off. hahahahaha I am just surprised about the turbo and that I just easily walked on him especially w/ three other people in the car.
Now, it didnt go this way all night. I am heading away from my friends' apt. and I see a v6er stang of my body style go by me. It is really sharp looking and I kinda like it (except the ricer APC taillights). I stop next to them and from what I can see are two semi good looking ladies in pilot and copilot. We exchange smiles and I want to go. I dont rev so we just cruise down side by side w/ me showing off my exhaust for them. At a near light I stop and hear yelling. They have two guys in the back seat being chaffeured around. lol. One is talking **** to me and wants to run. I oblige but the girls get a scared look and dont want to. At this point, a new car comes into the scene. It is a maroon cutless. I wants some bad. I line up to this guy who is yelling and sounds pretty drunk. We start off slow but then we punch it hard. I lost traction in first and spun my wheels at about 10mph. THEN I PROCEED TO MISS SECOND. Damn.......This guy walks on me and I feel real bad. I decide to give him credit and say that yeah you beat me(no excuses, right???). He is cool but very drunk about it and tells me that I can do better (over loud rock and roll music). He wants to go but I tell him it isnt smart since we are sitting infront of railroad tracks and then a bridge and next some minefield size potholes(I know this street well from cruising). He just punches it and by now he is maybe cruisin into Bogota by now..... I think damn but whatever I am real happy about the turbo cav.
Now I really feel like the kid who cant drive but the V6er is watching all of this. I figure that I know that I am a good experienced driver and that this stuff happens. The ladies in the V6 will be stunned when I walk on them good. They pull up and we punch it with about half a car length ahead. I dump into third and bog slightly but then start to burn clutch. Damn again. I really suck tonight. I STILL WALK AWAY FROM THEM SLOWLY and then I let off to fix my prob before I leave my clutch on the side of the road. Oh well, with other guys and driving like I am learning stick I guess I cant get a gas station meeting can I???? I brake and they follow me but keep going when I pulled over.
As a side note my friend got walked on by a Volvo after trying to learn my car in about two blocks. That is because I told him to slow cause I thought that I saw an undercover vic. That would really suck. He knew stick but wasnt used to that amount of hp and power. lol He loved it a lot.
Oh well that is part of my night. Two for three for me and two bad races out of three. I dont know what to think. Missing gears does happen to everyone once in awhile, right??? I am told that I am a skilled driver but I guess this stuff just happens and I will get out. Just hope my clutch is fine, it should be ok.

missing second is the easiest to do. 2nd is the first set of synchros to go out in any abused 5/6 speed, it's always the hardest hitting, sometimes it sticks and doesn't go in.

uh huh.. wonderful. no need to always try to be right. the guy said he wasn't good at shifting, hence why i said how can you miss second. usually when you're not good at shifting, you miss third. even when you are good you can miss third. we all know you're the king, no need to strut.

great.. now you're going to post something smart, i'll let you do it so you can get your last word in. otherwise this'll turn into a 5 page flame war like all the rest.

It was def. an off night.
Tonight I took a VW GTI (I think cause of the turbo), a sorry sounding Jetta, and a MR2.
I am not boasting about the races but I did drive great and took all of them by about 3+cars. Good night tonight.

I actually do have a NItrous Works bottle but it is not hooked up right now. I am gonna get rid of it and get gears instead and I am eyeing up/ saving up f/ HP Performance Turbo. I saw the other thread but I still like the uniquness of turbo.lol
