Default Turbo Integra

I saw his front mount when he turned onto the street I was coming home on. It was an older Integra that looked to be about the same year as the one Red put together. I was caught up at a stoplight, so once I got the green, I went after him to check it out. The next light we got to turned red, so we ended up beside each other. The light turned green, but he didn't try to launch or anything, so we both just kind of rolled out normally. When we got up to about 25-30 mph, I heard him spooling, so I jumped on it. I instantly put half a length on him, but he stopped my pull for a second. Then, I started to pull again, and put about another car on him, and once again he briefly stopped my pull. I guess everytime he got his turbo spooled up, he was able to keep up, but once he dropped out of boost he would fall back. He did bounce it off the rev limiter when we first took off, so that did hurt him some. I'm not sure if he simply over reved it, or if he was spinning. His turbo sounded sick though, very loud. The car didn't look all that great, but I do commend the guy for having a quick Integra and for NOT having a fart can. I didn't even see an exhaust pipe. I just pointed at him and smiled when he passed me later and he returned a wave.

I thought he'd like this one, lol! Lucky for me, the one I ran was nothing like the one Red built or I would've gotten embarrassed.

Hondas/Acuras can be total sleepers. thats what i dont like about them. theyre kinda like 5.0's. they can be a stock 14-sec car(5.0) or a street driven 9-sec car. (ive never seen a 9-sec street driven Honda, but ive seen 11 and 12 sec Honda's)

WHAT! An integra lost??? Bullsh1t he wasn't trying

Your cars not a slouch. Sounds like you had fun though. I was out last night looking for my first run in the new build, but no takers. I thought a WRX was gonna play, but then he turned off at the next exit, and then a nice looking NA civic pulled up, but he didn't want to play either, which is OK because he wouldn't have standed a chance and it wouldn't have been fair. I'm gonna go out today for a cruise to see what I can get, and if nothing else, I'll put some more miles on the clutch and engine.

This car pulls fuxking hard now though. It's probably gonna be a while before I do any more power mods (at least untill I get beat I guess, lol). To be honest, I've only done 2 short WOT pulls and only reved to about 7.5k. I'm not really used to driving a fast (er) car or an integera anymore since I haven't driven it since summer 06. I've actually turned my boost controller off and am just running WG spring pressure untill I get more confident, LOL. It's kinda scary from going from a 287BHp 3200lbs Z to a 400 WHP 2500 lbs car.

Lmfao, thanks Red!

Your car sounds like a riot, man! Is there anyway you can get some vid of it and post up for us? Maybe some pics if thats easier. I didn't realize you hadn't driven it since 06. Yea, going from 287bhp to 400whp and with that much weight loss is pretty captain insane-o.
Any chance you'll be running it on the track?

Yeah, I'm going to my nephews house (he's a year younger than me, LOL) to show him and cruise around so he may take some vids. I gotta see if our video camera works otherwise it may be done with a cell phone. I will eventually get it to the track, but it doesn't really work with my work schedule. I'm gonna have to arrange something. I also want to be prepared for it. I need to get a set of DRs and a traction bar and practice my launches so I don't look like an idiot, LOL. The new clutch is also a PITA to drive on. It's very on/off. I just hope it needs broke in more. Maybe I just need to learn it better. We shall see though. Well I'm off. I'll let you guys no if I race something interesting.

For sure. I got the V1 sniffing out radar so hopefully they don't feel like using the laser (like they love to do on the highway, LOL. I need a jammer) Thanks man.
