Today coming home from the spurs game i see this car pull up right beside me so i get it on and pull the guy little by little...the guy thought i had a real cobra and was kind of disappointed when i told him it was a GT (no i didnt spray, i was out). He said he had just bought his car and it had a LS6? I want to know what kind of car that was...I looked and im thinking it was a monte carlo or im really not too sure??? Is my car really quicker than an LS6???

 

An LS6 comes in the Corvette Z06... unless it was an older older muscle car.

 

i was disappointed in the Spurs tonite...I was thinkin bout goin downtown and drivin my car up there...but knowing they lost...that would have been a big mistake...you live in San ANtonio or close to it??

it was a 454 monte carlo. it has 450hp and 450 trq. its the legendary engine used in the 70 chevelles.

he probably had the LS5 ive never heard of a ls6 monte carlo and if there is one thing i know its muscle cars. the only way to tell if its an ls6 is its cam and the casting number on the heads. other than that the engine is identical.

 

LS7 is in the new ZO6, no idea about an old one...

 

you know i think i know what is was...the new GTO...im pretty sure. He was trying to compare it to a cobra which has about the same horsepower as the GTO but i keep thinking to myself i beat a 400hp car with no spray. Something doesnt sound right...
