Theirs no set number, faster trap speeds make car lengths not worth as much time. BUt, I suppose if your trapping 95-100 mph then a car length is about a tenth.

can't be............. imagine 3 cars parked bumper to bumper. and then fly by at 100, it will probably be close to 5 tenths of a second from front to back. 1 tenth sounded good, but it just seems too short of a time. but hey at 100 mph everything is a blur
