My buddy and I were out the other day in his 99 s-trimmed gt. he has 3.73s exhaust and handfull of other mods to support the blower. anyways we were cruising down 234 and passed a white evo with exhaust on it. Well now-a-days just about every evo you pass has an exhaust on it. My evo is currently getting the motor assembled on it. Knowing I easily stick with my buddy's GT I tell him to see if the Evo wants to play. He slows down next to him, and I look over at the evo owner. I give the point asking if he wants to run. He nods drops to a gear as my buddy drops to third. 3 taps of the horn later and we are off.
The instant torque and spool of the s-trim grabs us 1car from 60mph. My buddy is about to grab 4th when all I hear is this loud intoxicating roar. The evo's nose drops like he slammed on the brakes then it yanked back up into the air like a fish getting its mouth caught in the hook. He went by us roaring, screaming and hissing. Instantly he had 5cars on us. My buddy slowed down as we both struggled to pull our jaws off the floor. HOLY ****!! I ask my buddy if his car broke, he says no it pulled real hard. DAMN!! We tried pulling up next to the guy to talk to him but traffic kept getting in the way. Oh well
What ever he had done I don't know, derfinetly a turbo upgrade with an external waste gate. It looked stock as hell too, no whells, brakes, body kit or anything. But man that thing was fast!!
