Fact of the matter is just because it has a four banger doesn't mean it can't go straight fairly quickly. Most people mod cars like those for cornering performance with a little extra boost.
Why is it so unbelievable that people don't want to drive around town getting 13 mpg just so they can run 12s at the track and have bragging rights to a fast V8?
