I have a stock '92 5.0 GT and a buddy of mine has a '03 GT. I'm just curious if anyone knows how good of a race that would be.

 

It won't be very close at all. Unless you have him stand outside his car, you take off and he has to get in, start it, and catch you. Then it might be close.

 

Or you could start at 25mph and he could start from a stop.

 

haha, i have a 99 v6 and i take out stock 94-95 gts all the time.

 

Eh, if you're a 5 speed and he's an auto....I'm going to say you'll still be able to see his tailights. If you're an AOD and he's a manual...ouch.

 

What do you run? My friend ran 14.9 at 94 with his stock 94 GT.

 

i dont know. havent been to the track. our closest track is a 1/8th track about an hour from me.

edit: i know im slower than 14.9, but the guy i took was on the interstate from 45-85-90... 3 out of 4 times tie, beat him by 1/2 car once. ive ran with other 5.0s too.

i said i ran with stock 5.0s. you have a 4.6 with some mods
