03 Mach 1 vs 05 STi
Yes on the future mod list but not on your present list. Answer what everyone is asking, why are you shifting into 5th at 120 if you still have 3.55s?
This is why that STI pulled him so hard. I don't believe it was anything but a stock STI. If he had of stayed in 4th, by the time he hit 120 mph that STI would've been history without considerable mods.
STIs seem to pull hard to me. I realize how a car "feels" isn't always the best indicator of how fast (or not) they really are.
I have a friend with a stage 1 08 STI and I swear that car feels like it pulls harder than my car or my friend's 07 GT.

What you feel is the AWD
Yeah that was what I kinda figured. The AWD gives you a big time seat of the pants pushback down low because getting traction is so easy. Whereas with these RWD cars, especially on street tires, you'll get more spin and less grab.
Interestingly enough when he ran his 08 STI at the track he got a 2.0 60' and a 14.0 flat ET. Mishri's car (who I was comparing it to) typically gets a slightly worse 60' but was 1/2 second faster ET.
It's no big surprise that the v8 pulls on it up top. When my friend goes stage 2 on the STI, which he will shortly, it may even things up more up top.
Another thing, the STI is a smaller car so naturally that increases the "feel" of going faster vs. the mustang. The s197 is kind of a boat in comparison so it just feels more clumsy.
