Not bad Rebel. On that 2nd run he bounced off the rev limit, but once he got it back under control it gained ground quick. That LS1 definitely has a lot left in it. Was it an automatic? If so, either he was shifting manually, or his trans is slipping.

He was manual. it was cammed (small) intake TB and exhaust, but he's only had the car for about 1-1.5 weeks...so that was a big part...that and he hasn't tuned it since the cam.

Nice runs, you seem to be getting about all you can out of it. And you only trapped 4 MPH lower than the Cobra that ran at the end..

 

...helmets are gay if you run over 13 in the 1/4 JMO....people thought i was retarded at US41 when i ran without one. i don't wear one on the street and thats its primary purpose...it's not like i go any faster on the track.

i've got another .1 and maybe .2 left in her but in this weather it won't happen late October/ November is when i'll get it..IF i am a good enough driver by then.
