Had a little fun with a bullit this am... car usually runs on the bottle and has seen 11.1s on a 125 shot @ 123 or so.

I was cruising to breakfast with the boys and he comes along side ( I know the guy/car from a local forum) He gives me the look and I know we've got a run at hand.... slow down to 40... perfect for me..... and he honks it down and we nail it, he jumps out on me by a 1/4 car or so on the hit. Quickly I catch him up as I power shift 3rd and start to pull out on him. Grab 4th and I continue to pull away..... had to shut it down hard as my boys in front were slowing to 20 or a run themselves....

We slow for another run, guy tells me he's bottle is empty and he's trying me all motor.

Run 2 & 3 - could not get the car into 3rd. guessing the slave was a little hot and not working so well


Run 4 - I figure will have to granny shift 3rd.. so again from a 40 roll, we nail it and he jumps out, I start catching him up and am even when I granny third... stay even until 95 is as I power **** 4th and I keep pulling out and let off around the top of 4th with me out by a car or so.

Guy was a real gentleman and now want to get a rematch on the bottle.... he'll have me for sure then.....

 

Good run Stk. What does he have done besides the juice? Sounds like strong Bullitt even without N20.

 

Scary to think he stayed up without the bottle pretty well. What all does he have done?

 

I tired to find more info... but so far havent been able to.

 

Nice runs. He must have a lot more under the hood except for the juice to keep up with you on just the motor.

 

well did some more digging.... looks like he had a built motor put in about 2 yrs ago, it was at least bored over. could be stroked too... IDK... still trying to find out. He also has a built 3650 tranny and 4.10 gears.

 

I bet that thing is nasty with the 125. Good kill for sure.

Sounds like that 2v has h/c mods.
