Default Good run with a G8 GT...

I spotted two college kids in a new g8 gt on my way back to dallas today. There was some traffic, but we slowed down to make room (im sure it pissed alot of people off) but anyway, we got ourselves a VERY nice stretch of road for a run. We did a 40 roll and he honked it off. I put half a car on him instantly, and it was downhill for him all the way till 110-115. I let off with him 4+ cars behind. Cool kids, and the car was pretty badass, they sound pretty damn mean IMO.

Sounds accurate to me. ~same fwhp, you have better gearing and lighter weight. Killed baby! I'd like to hear one open up full throttle.

Good kill OP! It seems that the G8s really need a tune to do work.

Just about everything out there needs a tune in the enthusiast's eyes!

I raced a G8 at the track. Here's the whole story. I don't know if he had any mods but thats a pretty quick 4 Dr sedan.

That boy had some mods Wingman. Sounds like he had a tune, possibly other mods, but at least a tune.

Our local speed shop just bought a brand new G8. Bone stock it ran 13.5 @ 102, and dynoed 310 rwhp. With just a cai and the shops custom tune it ran 13 flat @ 105, an dynoed 340 rwhp. These runs were done on the stock rubber as well.

I was thinking it had to have some mods to be able to run a 13.6 with that 2.2 60'. If it was a 2.0 60', I could see that being a stock run. I didn't think they trapped quite that high stock either, but this is all based on internet reading/research, etc. I don't have any eye witness accounts or other personal experience with G8s.
