i havenever got to run an 05 owner ever, its always old people or women.

well tonight im behind this one that sounds pretty good on a 2 lane highway. i move into the other lane and slowly gonna pass her, im at her back bumper, she starts pulling over into my lane!! about 2 inhes from hitting me, i drop to second and take off like a bullet. when going by i see its a 70+ year old woman, scared ****less. i dont know if its because of the near hit, or my exhaust at 6k lol

next i finally see one, i think this is the one.. gonna run an 05, i pull a u-ey in the road and get behind him.. pull to the light, its a 05 v6, convertible, automatic. with big guys in it

how much slower could it get? i took off hard then let off as i shifted into third and he came flying by lol. i wasnt gonna waste anymore time on that.. thats the two closests incidents ive had with 05's, i just cant seem to find a race, oh well.

i also seen a 03 cobra.. silver with black stripes, loud as hell. i gave him a rev from across the road, he gave me a quick burnout and a thumbs up.

later i was pulling into the movie theatre with my girl, and the road was a tad bit wet, so i gave it a shot in frist and spun to 5k, shifted to second and spun to 5k again. i then let off because it scared her, and i look beside me, a girl probably 22, huge rack, gives me a big smile and two thumbs up. my girl didnt like it, but i sure did lol.

i know these werent really races.. well one, but sorry, im sure ull be ok.

 

They really like their cars though. I got behind one the other day, one of the few GT's I've seen, and his plate said "MYBABY" and he kept swirving to avoid things....by things I mean insects and such on the road, maybe a blade of grass or two....I travel the road almost everyday and there's nothing wrong with it. He acted like it was going to knock his car out of alignment, or bend a wheel.

I have the same problem as you. I just want to see one let loose, even if it beat me or not, Id just love to ee what it will do. IMO its a beautiful car, best yet since the fox body.

 

My friend has a Black 05 GT and we went and messed around on the highway the other day....They are one heck of a car no doubt

 

hahahhaha I swerve for potholes, then I get out and see a covering of dead bugs on my bumper.

 

I HATE that light blue color that the 05's have..

The only other ones that I have seen are silver and red. I have seen 3 at the track and ran against one of them. 1 ran 14.5, one 14.3 and the one that I raced against ran 15.0@95

 

'05 Mustangs are slow especially GTs. I run 15s all day long. I don't know why all of you want to race one. If it makes you guys feel any better I can't get one to race me either and I have 1. I just get thumbs up or dirty looks from older guys who are mad I guess because I have the same thing they do and I am usually a third their age.

I never did want to run any of them. I honestly have never liked them at all. It's just interesting to me that the BEST I have ever see one run is a 14.3. When I lined up with the one that I ran I looked over and he never even had a helmet so I figured that he just wasn't worried about breaking 13's. I have heard A LOT about them running mid 14's to high 15's. It's big step in the wrong direction.
