There is a few other Cobras running around town and needless to say, mine is the most well known. Well a friend that just bought a GT said the dealer that sold it to him has a black '04 Cobra and was talking about my car. He dyno'd at 520 to the wheels with just a pully and a Predator tune. His AFR was like a 14.0 and spiked at 18.0. [sm=roll.gif] Well he set up a race between the two of us because he said the guy was running his mouth and telling all his customers that his was the fastest by far. LOL Well we meet out on the local strip in town and roll out to a long, straight road in outside of the city.

We parked and talked for a minute or so and made him aware that my tires really suck and that he would definetly get me off the line. He is running brand new BFG KDW's and im on almost bald Michilen Pilot sprots. So we line up and I blow the horn three times and we took off. He got really good traction from the start like I expected and I was spinning like crazy even at half throttle. I was still on him like flys on ****. As soon as I hit third I got traction and took off on him and was about a full car ahead by the time we passed our friends on side of the road.

Now the guy is telling everyone that I barely beat him that a whole car isnt a real win even though I was spinning through 1st and 2nd and finally grabbed in 3rd and he didnt spin at all. We are racing again as soon as I get my new tires put on and im gonna throw this guy a beating.

 

Kick his ***. I just got beat by a Camaro by that much and I def. know that I got beat. I hate people who are cool but as soon as you beat them they have an excuse to why. Spank him and get it on video. Then you have your proof. Good luck but, I guess you don't even need that with the monster that you have in your garage.

 

Way to put that Eaton huffing cobra in its place. Next time you race him, make sure you tell him his blower sucks.

 

Not for noting, but JD was making excuses for being beat off the line and they hadn't even raced yet.

I just got the hardened studs in today and I can mount the MT ETs till I get the rear in. Then we can race again.
