I seem to always find this guy trying to play with me. Ive only talked to him once and all he has is a cai and an exhaust.

I live in central nj if anyones familar with that area. So i was sitting at the 520 light about to turn onto 9 and this white mazda turbo pulls up next to me. So he starts trying to get me to run and me wanting to shut him up say okay. I asked him what he had and he said an exhaust, cai and tune. And than he asked me what i had and before i answered he said it doesnt matter anyway. I tried not to laugh... So we turned left at the 520 light and onto 9. I stayed in first and we went from a 20 roll. I pulled him instantly and took a couple cars but missed 3rd so he goes past but we got caught next to each other at the next light. So were going from a dig now hes talking all kinds of **** and reving at me and laughing thnking he smoked me when i wouldve killed him if i didnt miss 3rd. It was honestly a waste of gas for me. The light changed he took half a car cause i spun a little and thats all he got. I had around 4+ cars at 100 so i let off and what happens? The ricer flyby haha. He blows past me cutting in and out off cars up ahead and than he gets off at the next exit lol. What an idiot...

 

Mazda turbo what? There's a lot of Turbo mazda vehicles. CX-7, CX-9, Mazdaspeed 6, Mazdaspeed 3, Masdaspeed Miata, Mazdasped Protege, RX-7 and probably others.

 

Sounds like a Speed3. That guy was being a complete ***, lol. Glad you went ahead and embarrassed him.

 

Well if you beat an old RX7 I'll say nice kill! A speed 3 from a dig.......to easy!

 

IIRC the speedprotege is not turbo stock. OP, good job putting that tool in his place. I had some kid in a new eclipse give me the same attitude in my old 89 last year. His girlfriend laughed at him as I let him get the jump and blew past his ***.

 

It was a 170hp 160ft-lb Turbo i4. :-)

I guess they are turbo. I'd be pissed with a turbo car with only 160 ft.lbs. of torque.

 

it was a speed3 or whatever the stupid looking thing is called. He just put a turbo emblem on it i guess. I believe they are turbo'd though.

 

haha i musta had the same kid and his girl. It was so riced out it was not even funny. Even my girlfriend was like what the hell is that? haha. This was my first time getting pulled over for racing... At least i smoked him though.

 

I used to let my girlfriend drive the 89 all the time because she loved it. One time we were on our way back from the jersey shore and she was driving with me asleep in the passenger seat. I woke up because she down shifted to race a bunch of civics that were all in a "pack" on the highway. I was so proud of her.
