So my buddy just picked up a Neon SRT4. He was talkin about how fast it was and how it would walk my car. He said "It would be a good race for your dad's Trans Am" lol. Its mods are: Stage 1 turbo upgrade, aftermarket BOV, CAI, catback, boost controller, and short shifter. My mods are in my sig

So he brought it out last night and gave me a call, and i went out to meet him. He wanted a 60 roll so i said w.e its a race lol.

He honked it off and right off the get go we were DEAD EVEN lol! Once i hit the top of 3rd and hit fourth i started to pull on him and at the top of fourth i had about half a car on him!! I was so pumped lol! He wants to go from a stop now so we'll see how that goes.

Yeah, when I had my GT. (01 Full bolt-ons, 4.10's) I raced one from a low roll ~25 and put about 3 cars on him. Mods were Stage 1, WGA, Intake and I believe a MBC.

Yea true...im excited finally one of my friends has a decent car to race! Ill get vids next time for sure. I think we're gonna take em to the drag strip in a few weeks for a buddies birthday.

whats a stage 1 turbo upgrade? just ups the boost a lil bit? buz im pretty sure the stage 3 is the only stage kit that comes with a upgraded turbo...i could b wrong tho. good race tho! iV ran a few myself...quick lil cars.

 

Hes likin it a lot actually! He loves runnin it w/ the cutout open haha. Its definatley a monster haha.

And idk what a stage 1 turbo upgrade is. I don't think it amounts to much hp haha...just sumthin for him to say he had.

 

STG1 includes a more agressive PCM that has features similar like NLS and injectors.
The exhaust on those things sound so sexy. Esp open cut-out.
