Yeah, they are a little pricey. I just took my Nitto DRs off mine for the winter.

Honestly from what I've seen at the track they haven't even run better than a 14.0 stock. I even saw a guy go out there right after he bought the car, totally stock, went to burn out and dropped the rear end. That's Chevy for ya! lol. JK

I saw a few V6 Camaro's run in the 13's last time I went to the track. They had a few minor bolt ons, if even that at all.

Ugh...Run Flats. If it's anything below 60 degrees outside, I could stab 3rd and get my Vette sideways. I was so happy when they were finally bald.

Pick up a set of regular tires, and you won't believe how much nicer your Vette is to drive.

There was a guy at the strip when I went in an auto SS that was running 12.7's, he claimed he was bone stock but I never got to look at the car.

I have a friend that works at a vette only dealership and they take the run flats off as soon as they get the cars so they have them stock piled. I get them for about $200 a set so I really cant justify buying a set of regular tires. They usually only have about 2000-3000 miles on them when I buy them. I really dont race much on the street anyway and if I have a race set up I just toss the stickies on.
