amazing lightning vs a subaru
ok so i wasnt driving either car but this race was so godly i have to share.
1st car: last model Ford Lightning rummored to have over 800hp at the wheels
2nd car: random subaru sti with not much.
i drove out early to scout the interstate for them checked it out, all clear, gave them a call said it's on.
everyone gets out on the interstate, 2 racers in front, rest blocking the 4 lanes. subaru takes off and the lightning waits for 6 car lengths to start to give it a lil gas get to about 60 or 70 and stomps on it. a sound that can not be described was echoed EVERYWHERE as this alcohol powered lighting white smokes the tires sliding all over 3 lanes. when he hooks he screams off so fast that he past the subaru with what had to be AT LEAST a 50-70 MPH difference in speed in the matter of a 1/4-1/2 mile area.
after everyone was back at the meet, the subaru dropped his passenger and left didn't even get out, didnt even rev over 1500 leaving

i'm actually surprised that subie didn't kill him. an sti can easily launch the ***** off redline and dead hook and run 12's with VERY little done to them. if that truck waited until the subie got 6 car lengths ahead, then gave it casual gas until 60, then hit, spun badly across a few lanes, and still managed to pass the car that quickly and fast, then I'm going to have to call b.s.
unless ofcourse they were doing like a 2 mile race or something.

yeah it was on the interstate from a 40-45 roll and sry i meant after he hooked it took him 1/4-1/2 mile area. and that subaru raced him cause he didnt believe that the lightning was that damn fast and he was also a douche but yeah even if i did bring my camera there was no way in hell we could even try to keep up with the lightning lol the way it pulled it may actually be more than 800 cause when he ran he was running alcohol and before hand he was tinkering with what appeared to be a tuner lol.

idk about calling this bs.... i had a sti and i dont think i could hit 12's and i was at 336whp dyno tuned...... most subys, that are on there stock turbo and thats stg2 or tuned, only hit mid 13's at best and thats on launch control..... what mods did the sti have neo? if he was running atleast a 20g or larger turbo then it could be bs..... actually from a roll is better for a tmic turbo car..... less heat soak cause your moving and have air flow through the tmic and you can sit right outside your spool rpm and have instant power when you hit it... from a dig, your heat soaked to $hit and have lag...... neo, you gotta get that lighting back out on the street....challenge him just to get a vid of the truck haha
and to the second bold...
HAHAHAHAHA damn, i don't think he'd even waste his gas to race me. this is the first time i've ever seen him run. may actually be THE only time he has. about 30 cars rolled out to watch because EVERYONE wanted to see this truck run. guy in the STI was doing some serious **** talking to get him out and i don't wana be a jack *** to my friends lol but damn i wish i had brought my camera
yea the guy with the sti is prob just stg2 with a show off valve and he thinks hes the $hit haha.... i did when i had mine
..... anyway, i ran in my sti, a s197 with prob just a tune, cai, maybe gears, and maybe LT's and we were dead even the whole time, if i was able to put anything on him it was in inchs.... a s197 with that setup usally runs mid to low 13's...... thats why im sayin my sti couldnt get into the 12's plus seeing subys run the track by me..... well if the lighting comes back out to play, you gotta get it recorded!

so from a dig an sti with a good driver and "bolt ons" should of smoked that truck, based purely on the fact that the truck won't get traction for 80 percent of the race. that's the big issue here is the traction factor.
