Nice Kill...short and sweet lol i'd like to know what year m3 as well and i'll look for the other side of the story on bimmerforums although they normally dont post losses. My other car is a e90 330 and they hate when I post kill stories while driving my mustang!!

I just read some of the kill stories on the bimmerforums. While there seem to be a few kool guys over there, all I can say is wow. Lots of "Mustangs are POS", and "Mustangs are no competition" talk. Several bias snobs lurking around there that need a good Mustang *** whipping. These are guys with mid 13 second cars saying this btw, lol. Anyway, I highly doubt this kill will be posted there.

Most of the dudes who are in the import crowd think mustangs are slow. Everything but the terminator anyway.

Yea I agree WOW is a good word. There is some cool guys there and some have said that our S/S is wayy better than their "kill stories" becuase we have constructive things to add rather than throwing up the bs flag right off the bat. For the most part they hate us mustang folk thats for sure lol Lots of fanboys that run with exotics and american muscle all the time in thier 13 second cars. I hang out mostly for the entertainment becuase they are very strict in their rules and ban for foul language, stories that dont involve bimmers, and meaningless replies like "nice kill" or "+1"

Yea, I noticed how strict they are, SCs197. Kind of takes away from the "kitchen table" feel of just sitting around shooting the breeze with fellow car enthusiast, imo.

Riptide, your right man. It always comes back to "all mustangs" except for the 03/04 Cobra with the import crowd.

I just wish their wasn't all this fanboiism floating aound. Its even worse when they don't know wtf they are talking about. Oh well, sorry for getting OT, OP.

I remember I ran into an E46 vert on the highway and he only put about a 1/2 car on me 50-120MPH, and that was with my automatic new edge making only 246WHP with a set of 4.10's

this was the same M3 I got on video doing a ricer flyby after the race and not going anywhere all the way up to 150MPH
I agree, they are not that impressive and usually takes just an intake/tune on an S197 to run with them.

As long is it's not an E92 I believe the OP's story.

I hear you on that, just based on pure memory I believe they trap like 112-114MPH bone stock, could be a little off though

seeing what HPF puts out for the E46 I'm dying to see what a HPF kit would do to the E92 once they create one (if they do).... that is going to be a HUGE display of power IMO

Yea, no way was it an E92.

I say that, but then again there are some serious non-driving knuckle draggers out there on the roads.

It may be a freak but I doubt it would be freak enough to beat an E92 from a roll. Also it would probably struggle with a modded E46 considering your 105 trap speed and the M3s top end power band. Their lack of low end torque makes them alot easier to deal with from a stop light.
