racing a t/a?
hey... this isnt about my stang.. but i gave the guy a choice to race either one of my cars... we are racing for 11 bucks (admission of the dragstrip)... so i was like... pic the car of mine you want to race... so he picked my truck... which is a 2004 Dodge Ram Hemi regular cab short bed. the transam is like a 02 or so with a catback and intake. hes also automatic. my truck is auto too. who do you think will win? the mods to my truck are... catback system, CAI, and a 125 wet shot of nitrous. he doesnt know of any of my mods but i found out his. he thinks he will beat me very badly. what do you all think? what do t/a's run... also what are some good t/a forums i could get some info from?

i actually have pretty good traction... ive never ran it at the track with the nitrous before though... my truck n/a ran a 9.9 at 72mph. ive got 305/40/r22's in the back for my truck. they have a real good bite and they are nice and wide too. the only thing i lack is i got a open rear end instead of having lsd or posi. but i got 3.92 gears in that truck. a truck just like mine dynoed 410rwhp with the nitrous at 125 shot like mine. and he ran a 13.3 1/4 mile time but hes also a quad cab. i should have similar times to him.

I don't know, if you are running 9.9 in the 1/8 mile wich is a 14.xx 1/4 time you have a lot of time to shave off (1sec. + to get to where he is running) be able to beat him. I am thinking that he will win, but it will not be by too much.
