Havent had time to take it to the track. Any ideas on HP output & what numbers it will run in 1/4 mi? I am man enuf to handle the truth.....

why did you buy a 70mm Mass air when cobras come with them stock?

youre basically stock. figure it could be range from 13s to 16s

Cuz I was told cobras had a 65 mm MAF....

Is it worth port/polishing the gt40 heads or just look to put aluminum?

93 cobra had a 70mm maf. its basically the same setup as yours. so i would assume you had a 70mm. and if you were going ot upgrade i would of went a little bigger to atleast a 73mm


yes it would be worth it to them PP. only advantage of aluminum is wieght

at what point does a 5.0 need tuning? Do they just adjust the timing? I've heard that sn95 computers have a bad "load" and that a tune can help. I don't want to waste my money if it won't do much for some basic bolt on mods though..

Wouldn't that cause the car to run lean? It would be taking in more air than than the computer thinks it is taking in, I know it does that on LS1 cars. It might be best to just get a larger recalibrated MAF.

i checked the MAF and it is a 75MM...what about the tune? will it do much for my mods???
