Went to the track tonight, well not really the main track around here, but a quarter mile none the less. And the time was...14.3 - whoa whoa whoa that was surprising. With a trap speed of 97.7 mph. Lowered tire pressure, timing advance, 100 octane fuel, and a light light gas tank, good thing i brought some extra. I hooked up amazingly the first time after warming up the tires a little bit, and the time was probably the best I can do with my current mods, maybe a shade better on the shifts.

That would be tight. Hopefully driveshaft, and maybe some gears, that should help out. But that wont be til next spring. Otherwise, not too sure what else I want to do before college. Possibly a new MAF too.

 

you got stock gears? i'm thinkin about a ds too, but i wanna lower it first. have you messed wit suspension yet?

 

not at all, and yeah i have stock gears, or at least the ones that came with the car when I got it used. But it was totally stock then, so I dont think that they would have put gears in and it feels like 3.08s. I dont really want to lower it, partly because my Hpipe hangs low, and I dont want to scrape, and if i get a new one i have to reset all the cat back positioning and stuff so no thanks, but ds yes.
