Yea... you can only guess what happened, i have a totally stock Automatic GT. Maybe with a supercharger i would be close? at around 450 HP at the back wheels.

 

Well at least your graceful about it and probably had fun anyway. Would be nice if you got that SC and saw that guy again, the look on his face would be priceless. BTW I guess the mods are on vacation, this should have been moved by now.

 

It was a very valiant effort indeed . E55 AMGs run mid 12's stock so a stock mustang GT would be nothing more than a mere annoyance

 

I've had many a run in's with an E55 at my local track, guy got faster every weekend as he kept modding. Just basic bolt-ons like drag radials, exhaust, etc. and dude was running high 11's in a freaken Mercedes

 

ya...lots of reports of E55 AMG's running low 12's, high 11's with just bolt ons (without NOS). Kinda sick!

 

What can ya expect from a 5.5L V8 with a supercharger on it?

Looks like I was wrong the last time we talked about it... but that thing dumps down 469 horses, accompanied by 516 ft lbs torque.

I want one.

 

I love the E55. That car is sex on wheels. A 4 door that blows away cobras. Man I want one.

even with a blower on a GT, it would be no contest. Do an itnernet search of the E55 vs the 460+rwhp 03/04 cobra, theres two or three well put together videos of the same exact cars running. E55 wins hands down in every race. Very stout cars.

 

My very first race and the reason for considering any Mods was a BMW M5. He played with me, sat door handle to door handle until 105 and then started to bounce the thing! A very humbling moment.
