I dont know much about harleys, but I was at the coast visiting my girl friend. I came up to this guy in his leathers on a harley. He took off sorta quick so I rolled on the throttle in response. Well he gunned it, so I did also. My drag radials hooked up like a champ and I was off. I pulled on him, pretty nice and got him by a couple cars. I let off the throttle and he passed by and waived, with a peace sign. I just thought it was pretty cool all in all. If it was a crotch rocket I would not even have gotten on it because would have probally been humiliated.

 

The dude on the Harley was only toying around with you. He would have wasted you at half throttle.

every harley ive came into contact with ive been able to dust. I know their are some that may be fast but not this one dan. He was racing full on dude.

 

Harleys aren't sport bikes... they're Cruisers. I'm sure he could tell if the guy was at Full throttle or not... Harleys are f'in loud. </P>

My step dad bought an 03 Goldwing which he recently sold and bought some kinda new Harley with full out performance exhaust and computers and all kinds of way too expensive BS. Anyway, point being, he said that the Goldwing is perhaps the fastest bike he's ever ridden. It had a 6 cyl. in it. It would own the new Harley he said. I always thought they were old ppl mobiles.

 

I've seen plenty of V-rods wax cars...

A new honda goldwing is capeable of 0-60 in 4.3, which will smoke most all mustangs anywere near stock. Its almost unbelievable considering old dudes have them. And any harley other than a full dresser or a sportster 883 will take a mustang, all jokes aside. They are known to be slow, but they have low, neck breaking torque out the ying-yang We are talking 1450 cc's. I have a 2003 low rider harley, and my stang don't want any...<IMG src=smileys/smiley14.gif border="0"></P>

 

Lol i raced a crotch rocket once just for a himiliation thing... My 86 GT got ate alive spit back out and ate again.. It was so horrbile i was going at least 130 and he just zoomed right one by so horrible
