This was my first race since I pulled the car out and will probly be one of the closest all year. My car(in sig) vs an ls2 gto, with full exhaust, intake, some type of very nasty cam, and a tune, I was told he dyno'd at 417, but I never saw a sheet.

we did a few races, only got video's for two. the outcome is pretty much a neck and neck race all the way until I have to shift into 5th, then his t56 out does my 5speed and he pulls around.

well found another video lol. this was the first race, 60 roll. when he jumps back up to me is when I hit rev limiter in 3rd because my shift light wasn't working and i wasn't looking at the tach :/.

Sick!! I didn't realize you had such a strong runner. Nice runs. I don't like cammed Goats, they make me look slow, lol.

Didn't know if you caught it or not, but that GTO spit a little fire from the exhaust in the first vid.

 

yeah it's hard to miss lol. there was a cammed gtp following that couldn't quite keep up, he said the goat spit flames every shift. I really didn't expect to stay with him like I did, my car has right around 365ish whp, i figured his extra 50 horse would beat me even tho my car's lighter.

 

Weight goes a long ways.

 

yeah i know, i expect to lose when i race my buddies 260whp wrx, he's about 500lbs under me

 

Yea, I can't wait to see how that race turns out. 500lbs is a serious advantage. Have you guys worked out a run date yet?
