g37
so last night on my way home i notice a car weaving back and forth to get up to me. it turns out it was one of those g37 sedans. we get a red light...and im still figuring out how to drive my car best because i recently got cai/tune and i spin tires so easy. We take off, and i pull out like a ***** driving, he is 1/2 a car ahead but i slowly pull up on him then we shut off about 85. We get into town and get the first red light. I take off much better this time, no spinning, and I am half a car ahead by 50 and still pulling and we shut off at 65. he was a cool guy cause at next red light we talk hes like how much hp u got, i got 328 and u beat me. I told him i got about 330 (not at the wheels) anyways we both just got a thrill out of it had fun and went our ways...anyone know if the coupe is much faster?
p.s. i got stock pirellis

Nice run, man! The coupes are faster from what I've read about them. The coupes are supposed to be good for a 13.3 or so, stock. Not sure about the sedan's performance specs, but I do know that they are no slouch.

ya i did a little search and found that the sedan runs 0-60 in 5.4 which is not bad at all, i couldnt find a 1/4 time yet. after i saw the hp and 0-60 i dont see how i did so good. i thought my 0-60 was slow since im in an auto although not sure how much the cai/tune changed my 0-60. but it was fun and look forward to finding a coupe next time. Nice car and good performance for a sedan. too pricey for me though

yeah.. with the auto if you have a good tune with the cai makes a huge difference.
I guess you could be at 330bhp but i doubt it... whenever people ask how much HP i have i just tell them i dunno.. it's modded.

I just tell them what I make at the wheels, which is usually followed by the sound of crickets chirping, lol.
Then I usually get the famous question, "How fast will it go?".
I'd say you automatic guys with intake/tunes ought to be around 330 at the crank. I put down 308 rwhp, which should be close to 350. Just guessing.

ya i was just guessing and i told the guy that i think i was maybe around 330 tops not at the wheels. any clue roughly what my 0-60 would be with a auto with cai/bama 87 tune. i dont even no what stock 0-60 is for auto cause everytime i look it up it only has times for the manual.

I don't know how much you slower the 87 tune vs the 93, but I'd say with a 93 tune you should be able to get to 60 mph in about 4.5-5 seconds. The 87 tune shouldn't be much slower, I wouldn't think. S197 autos seem to be pretty strong down low.
Btw, your username has me curious.... do you own a Bojangles?

no, i use to wrestle and had to cut weight badly and always talked about eating bojangles everyday and one day owning one...then after my senior wrestling season within 2 months I gained 30 lbs from eating so much bojangles (dead serious, not exaggerating) I spent like $2300 on bojangles within those 2 months and its like an inside joke but do plan on owning one some day. kind of stupid i know.

Dayum! That much cajun chicken prolly took its toll on you, man! J/K, play your cards right and you could be the proud owner of one. Definitely not a cheap biz to get into though from what I hear.
