Default TL type-S

I posted awhile back about the blue TL type-S that I raced and he was a big ricer...well he saw me on the highway yesterday and was like I have the s/c put in I could hear it 2...he has a full exhaust CAI chip and the s/c and he was like "do u think u have a chance" w/ a smirk on his face.. I just smiled ....there was 2 much traffic and he always punched it when I tried to get even 2 go from a role so I was like w/e...so we get 2 a light and he thinks I couldt keep up ...I told him I wasnt gonna play chase ...anyway we finally get a clear section and go from a 60 role...3'd I pull about half a car and forth I just flat out leave him...it was deff. ALOT quicker then last time ..but deff. not quick enough 2 beat me...we get stopped at a light and he was like "hey u did pretty good"...I said yea and we were talkin about his car then we went r separate ways....

he has a VERY nice car tho...blue w/ blacked out windows..his exhaust has a very nice high pitched sporty sound 2 it and the s/c sounded really nice once he got in high rpm's...and its an auto w/ the triptronic shifter...I did get a chance 2 run him thro 1'st and second and I only gained about a car on him ..I did wheel hop and spin pretty bad when I hit second but still its pretty quick now off the line unlike the last time we race..so he'll hang w/ me for a bit b4 I start pulling...

He has a TL with all those upgrades? I hope he's upgraded his halfshafts or he'll be snappin' those puppies from a dig and be left with a revving engine and no action.

Every Car mag out there complains about torque steer on those cars because they have what...270hp on a FWD car? I hate to see how hard his steering wheel pulls when he whomps on it from a dig. [:'(]

Nice kill though. I'd race him from a dig. Just be sure to be on his passenger side in case he hops into the left lane on take off

Did he say how much he was boosting?

I'm guessing he must dyno lower than you still.

Probably 6PSI on a Comptech supercharger.
I have enough torque steer in my car from just 240fwhp.

You get 240 hp from just CAI and exhaust? Ever dynoed the car stock? Did Honda underrate the Accord or something?

The V6's accords were rated at 240hp right off the assembly line. Right?

That's just a myth. Tuning can get you a lot more than people think. But to get serious about it you'd need to resleeve the block.

I'm sure he just has the bolt ons and an SC though, so he probably kept it at 6 psi which is the pulley that most SCs come with out of the box.
