first run w/Vortech V3 non-intercooled
first official run with the V3 and totally wasted a 04-05 WRX, yeah, it was about a 35 roll to about 85mph but a clean run none the less. He was egging me on for about a 1/4 mile before we finally lined up.. and man, it was NOT pretty for him. Must have put about 7-8 cars on him, no joke! It looked like he has some grunt down low, from when he was trying to show off in front of me before the run.. but mid-up top.. he simply was out-powered.

yeah, I wish it had been an STI... maybe next time!
Still have yet to run a new camaro or challenger SRT-8 like I have wanted to, but it's all good.. summer has just begun! lol

Why waste your gas? You need to find bigger fish to fry man.
thanks all.

it's a great little entry level kit indeed! I want more boost, but getting tires before that. It's no fun with no traction both off the line or from a low roll. I'd definelty be alot faster with the right wheels. Why fry the wheels even more with an additional 50-60whp??
tires, lower control arms and an aluminum driveshaft and I am set for a long time. Possibly also a 3k stall converter...
right around the 400whp mark. I have the non-intercooled kit with FRPP 4.10s, jba shorties and saleen delete plates... the 4.10s LOVE boost. I can go from 1500rpm to 3k by just getting on it, not sure if thats a good thing or not...

I beat a few WRXs when I was NA, but not an STI yet. I'd like to see how I'd do against one of those. I used to whoop them silly in my old stage 2 Skittle @16psi.
If you have are running the H.O. kit, 450-475whp shouldn't be a problem. If I go H.O. before tires, I'll most likely just keep her the way she is and not race too much. I love the highway pull and power on tap more than anything else.
