Default Newbie question

Hey there, so I'm a little new here as I am just 17. So my question is how do you know when your tires "hook"? I know I probably sound like an idiot asking this, but I am still new to this.

Thanks.

Your tires hook when they are not spinning. It's another way of saying your tires are getting traction. You should be able to feel/hear if the tires are spinning on the street...

Get a set of DRs and compare them to your street tires, the difference you feel is how you can tell

Don't worry I do!! Never gone over 85... yet. Pretty safe driver. Most powerful car out of all of my friends and speed the least.
