Was the C6 stock?

 

Looked like he was yanking you at about :28 in the video. Did he miss a shift?

 

Good run. Was that an LS3?

 

Probably just an LS3 C6 with the suspension package.

 

Even the stock LS3 w/ the Z51 package should trap 110+ and run 12.6ish, at least, right? What am I missing? A full bolt on s197 shouldn't be able to hang with a C6 LS3, especially at the speeds at the end of that video.......

I'm not surprised at all by this race then, considering OP's fairly long list of mods and that the Vette was an LS2. Not saying the LS2 C6 is slow or couldn't do better than he did.

 

That's exactly what a bolt on S197 will run.

Remember it's from a dig. The biggest part of the entire run is the first 60'. Whoever gets the best traction between these two cars is going to win.
