Bolt-on Fox vs Bolt-on LS1
Not the best video..... I snagged it off my brothers FB page since he was taking forever posting it up here....
87 GT- Full shorty header, o/r x exhaust, GT40 upper/lower, e-fan, cai, Bogarts, dr's, stock 3.08's (4banger tranny), egr delete, bumped timing, short belt, 1.7rr's, 70mm tb, 75mm maf, alum driveshaft, other weight reduction (backseats and trunk stripped), 300+lb driver and a passenger....
LS1- video has it listed as full bolt-on.... I don't know too much about it.

The GT just went 13.26 @ 102.5 2 weeks ago, on a 1.9ish 60ft. Maybe he beat the driver in this one, but that makes it even BETTER, since the LS1 driver talks more trash then a politician........

Well, you could see who won, lol..... The ls1 looked like it was coming back, but at those speeds, it was time to shut it down
Brandon (little brother with the GT) has a couple more vids coming I believe. He has some vids I took at the track (including his best run) and supposedly another one of a different ls1 seeing his tail lights.
The 5-0h is quick, definately for 'what it is'. The boy can drive his a$$ off, even being such a huge dude. So, against most others around here, he definately has the driver-mod to his advantage, which, according to videos like this, is sometimes the most important mod to have

I dont see a bolt on fox going faster then a 13.5@100mph. the fact that he is trapping 102.5 to me makes me believe he has just a bit more, as 100mph is max I can see it happening for those mods.
The ls1 driver must have been asleep! it sounded like it was a auto though....

Well, anythings possible I guess..... He didn't know about the rr's till he yanked the stock intake off to put the explorer intake on.... Which makes me ask..... who would put heads on, but leave the stock intake?
Hell, we thought he had 3.73's until he did the math, it all calculated to him having 3.08's......
Before he did the intake swap, he was running 8.50's in the 1/8th. So the thing scoots regardless, again, for what it is. With 160k+ on the stock block, and a lot of the mods coming from the pick n save, I'd say the ol Junkyard Dawg holds it down!
And I will re-iterate, neither of us, especially him, think that he should have won against either ls1's, specially a full bolt on, but it is what it is, and a couple mouths got shut up, for a day or two anyways

302Army-- how would your ported heads compare to those ported E7's from Thumper? 230 RWHP from a full bolt on 5 speed seems slightly low. Do you like your dynos just like you like you tracks....on top of a mountain? haha

At first I was like, this had to be from a dig. Then when I was watching, I was like, WTF the LS1 got the jump and then got pulled on. Then I was all like, lol when the LS1 went past him like he was sitting still. 102 trap.....c'mon nugga.
