I have the base Mustang with the cheapest tires on 17s. I thought about getting DRs, but I decided against them because I want my car set up to have the same setup on the street as it does at the dragstrip. I was wondering if some decent summer performance tires would could drop me at least a 10th or so on the track and still be acceptable for use on a daily driver until winter sets in.

 

I've had good luck with BFG KDWs, as well as Nitto 555s. I've pulled sub 2.0 60s on both. Good tires for their price range.

 

GY Eagle GT's.They are a 400 treadware all season. Use 'em year round. They hook up decent on my 3.55 geared 5.0. Never ran these tires at the track though.
