Default Camaro SS kill.

Haven't played with blue much sinse she granaded her transmission at the track a few months ago. Well I finally showed the old girl a little love tonight and took her out and rode her hard. It was about 1am and I was driven way to fast thru the curves and the straights when I come up on a brand new Camaro SS crusing up Rt 55. Black with silver stripes. Well I figured sinse I was out redassing I'd try to provoke a race. I gave the Camaro a little flyby and waited to see if he'd try to catch up. Not only did he catch up but he returned the flyby and kept going. I gave chase and ran him down about a minute later. The guy didn't really understand the whole roll race thing. When ever I got close, he'd take off again. So I figured I'd just run him down and pass him this time and keep going. He had about 3 cars on me to start and it took a few seconds to close that gap. He had to be suprised as hell to see a neon close on him as fast as i did. It's still hard as hell to catch a car thats doing 130+! I pass him doing a buck fifty and just keep it buried. Didn't exchange thumbs up or anything just slowed walked away and left him. Good times. I'm back in love with the old girl now.

lol some people just don't want a fair race!

Nice kill

I normally don't like chase races, but since you have the power to back it up..
nothing hurts more than taking off first and still getting beat by bus lengths rofl

Hmmmmm......what was that in your sig about roll racing again?

Nice run and whooee, who said that nobody runs races at close to top end? Those were some serious speed numbers there Blue. I'm glad you got her up and running again.

Yea every once in a great while I get a wild hair to just bury the speedo. It's childish but fun. Thats why I only do it late at night.

HaHa thanks man. she'll hit 175 before she runs out of gear. Least that's what the GPS says. speedo only goes to 160. Hows your rebuild going?

No way a neon ran down an SS. I call BS.

Good run, glad she's back up and running. You still planning on staying off the drag strip?

Yea. I've sold all my props I take to the strip. Slicks, lite weight wheels, even sold the WOT switch. I plan on buying a car that's built more for drag racing next spring. Namely a 5.0 GT.

How is the rebuilt tranny doing? I assume well. If you are ever in the Kansas, Missouri, Arkansas, Texas, or Oklahoma area hit me up :-)
