Thats a little better. Keep at it Maybe ask for advice instead of trying to create drama in every thread. Some of the guys that hang out in this section are very good drag racers.

 

My friend in the SVT Focus ran the 3.1 60' He spun in 1st and a bit in 2nd. It was his first time at the track and only his second run, so its understandable. He cut a 2.399 on his next run.

Nah, I trap almost that speed in the 1/8. Faster then your V6 I am sure.

Mods? Best I have seen a stock 3.7L trap in a 1/8 is 76. I have done 4MPH faster...making 50 less whp...with a slow 60'...on bad street tires...in a FWD....on stock suspension.

 

Glad you got out there again man and Good job on bringing those 60's and e.t.'s down!!! Trapping right at 80 isn't bad either, can't wait to see the 1/4 mile times and hopefully you can have the better tires and your mounts by then!

About you beating the 2011 V6..... Unless it's very poorly driven I don't see you winning, but that's just me. I've seen them trapping anywhere from 101-104 in the 1/4.

 

Thanks. Yea, would be a good race I think. The V6's are high 13 cars that trap low 100s. If I can get my 60 down to 2 on my new set up, I think I can run and trap right around that too.
