Yeah, E85 will require 80's. All the higher powered M62's are running small pulleys. Ebristal is running a 2.6 in the vid I posted.

It would be nice to get away with not having to change those two components, but I'm afraid the 60s will fall short. PD suggested I run 80s and a 2.7 for the best gains. I'm a bit concerned about pushing the M62 out of its efficiency range by spinning it that high. I know torque goes up, as well as peak power, but power also drops off at a lower RPM (I think). I believe a 2.7 may still be the best route however. The main concern with small pulleys isn't necessarily the powerband, but the heat they produce. Thats where the E85 has another plus, it burns much cooler. So no meth, dual pass, bigger heat exchanger (than the one I have), etc, is needed to run a 2.7.... I think I just talked myself into going with a 2.7 and 80s, lol.
lol yeah at the beginning of that post you said you didn't wanna change and at the end it was the opposite. hahaha.

and yes, that grand prix pisses many many people off.

Thats what I'm going to do then, order some 80s. I have a multi-pulley, so swapping the 2.7 in will be easy.

Haha, I just hate to keep spending money. Got to do it right or not at all though. I'd rather do it right

I'd love to run you sometime. From a dig, you would crush me. My best chance against you would be from a higher roll, at least 45-50 mph judging by your 1/8th mile trap. I only trap 80 mph in the 1/8th, but pick up a lot between there and the 1/4... typical FWD crap, lol.

I didn't think we had E85 stations in my area either until I did some googling. Just type in "E85 stations" and click on one of the locaters. It surprised me how many were around.

boduke, have any 1/4 traps?

Stone, When are you going on the E set-up? I'm curious to see how it runs. 2.7 and a Blueberry tune and you shouldn't have a problem hitting 290whp considering he did it on a 2.7 and meth.

Going to order the parts this week... then I'll have to track down Blue. I can't wait to get it done and see how it does.
